After watching the Banks stealth mount install video, it appears the airbag “curtain” just “peels” back the bottom edge of the A-pillar trim piece.

I like the config of the Block8head mount and it does look to block less of the windshield. I was stressed on the part where it grafts to the OE dash might look too homemade with difference in the textures and such. Does it blend well? I believe it is much more money too? Dual Stealth Pod is $119
You can definitely tell where it was grafted into the OEM dash piece if you look closely at it but once it's installed you really can't see it and neither can anyone else.

The issue I have with either one is removing it before heading to the service department. They don't need another reason to deny warranty work.
There is no way I would go through the trouble of removing it before visiting the dealer and there is no reason the dealer should say anything about it, it's only a scan tool, nothing is being altered.

Good idea however the bolt cover up there is a different shape. Of course with modification you could make it work, but it would not fill the area the cover used to correctly. I really think they nailed the placement. It is just about level with your eyes while driving.
I wasn’t suggesting they are the same location option.

I would rather my gauges up high or down low personally.

I have enough chit blocking my windshield after dash camera, cell phones and such.

Iv had gauges mount down by the cup holders, over head sunglasses cubby, the standard pillar triple pod mount. Everyone has their own likes n dislikes
I think that mount flipped 180 degrees off the top of the pillar would be great.

CJM Mount matches factory color well and integrates well. Not sure if they make dual version but I’m happy with it. I bought it based on design/look but the price was good too. View attachment 1114331

They do make a dual pod mount. My only complaint with my CJM one is it definitely affects the performance of that vent against the window. Ice melted much slower on that side then on my passenger side during the winter

Called Banks today and asked about them doing a triple gauge stealth mount. “No plans at this time.” Asked about a single for the top bolt. “No plans at this time.” I said people on this forum sounded interested in both and suggested he might send it through to their design folks. He said “yeah, will do that”. Was he blowing smoke up my tailpipe, don’t know??

It'll get sent up the flagpole. They take customer service seriously there. One of their head guys also frequently stops by the forum from time to time.

Now, with that said, it'll probably take several of you calling and asking for it before they make it.

Steve with Banks here. Right we're not making one for the top bolt. As for the triple gauge pod mount, we do not believe there is a enough room to make it viable. Apologies for the confusion.

Hey Steve,
I didn’t mean to mis-characterize what I thought I heard. Thank you for jumping in and filling me in. It’s a bummer the air curtain hangs down in the A-pillar and screws it up. I prefer the triple gauge A-pillar. I really like my two iDash gauges and would like to get a third or the data monster version for the recording ability. I’m currently using the Banks windshield two gauge mount. Maybe could run the two gauge stealth and a single windshield mount?? Have to think about it. I’m not a fan of blocking the side window vent.

Thank you for making all the great products,
Mark

Mark, it's all good. It was never taken as a mis-characterization. I have blunt way of responding. Lol. Sorry.

I can totally understand not wanting to block then vent. I think using a dual pod with a suctions cup may be the only way., You could mount the suction cup above the dual. The mount has a small arm that can extend slightly.

No offense taken - I’m accused of the same thing. Lol

Is there an ETA on when these will be back in stock? I ordered a single pod last week and things usually ship within a day or 2 As of today I have not seen an email about shipping.
