Hey all I just bought a 2007 with plow from my work and it has a battery drain issue that I don't want to tear into til spring is here and plowing season is over. For now I am just planning on putting a disconnect on, but my question is which battery negative do I put it on? Thanks

Both. If either one has a ground, you have a live electrical system.

So do I need 2 separate disconnects for each negative or can I add one on the positive where they join together?

When I put one on my trailer I used the positive cable to isolate the batteries, your switch will come with some directions as well.

You need 2 disconnects total, one on each negative cable.
