I like the Edge Comp over the Adrenaline, it has proven to be much more reliable for the 2nd gen Cummins. Then add some gauges and lift pump and you are set. With exception to the stock transmission.
very true..the smarty just isnt the same on these trucks as it is for the Common Rail..wish i woulda kept my edgeIn my opinion, the Smarty is only good for stacking.
i really gotta disagree with that..i have a couple buddies who have gone over 100,000 miles on the same injection pump running edge comps,that tap the pump..but with a good lift pump..such as air dog, FASS, or even a raptor, and maybe add a little 2 stroke oil to keep it lubricated, and the injection pump will stay happy..proper fuel pressure and lubrication is the key to have a long life with a VP44Also when you tap the wire on the pump you will start going through injection pumps every 15 to 30 thousand miles and at 1400-1800 a crack that gets costly.
