First weekend out with my tranny overheating issue fixed, Started out on friday night, Raced a 03-06 6.0 powerstroke with edge juice,He was a real cocky young kid,said that duramax are slow and i should have got a real truck...from a light i had about 9-10 trucks on him when he turned off. Next came a 2001 cummins 6 speed manual with fass,southbend clutch and edge juice stacked with smarty,he said he had the hot unlock on the edge,i was nice and we raced from a 30 roll,had him by like 8 truck lengths when i let out,he was realy cool about it, Then i decided to go back out cruising on saturday night to see if i could find anyone, I ran a new 6.7 cummins with a 4" magnaflow and edge,he was a manual,got behind him leaving a light he was speed shiftiing,i let him catch 4th then i stomped it and blew around him like nothing,about an hour later i found a 12 valve who talked shit while i was getting fuel but wouldnt race,I decided to grab a bite to eat and go back out hoping to find some ricers,when i was coming down the two lane to mcdonalds i saw a new 6.4 stroker with hids flying up the otherside,with no way to get turned around to run him down i just went to eat,when i was done i was setting in the parking lot talking to the girlfriend when i saw the 6.4 pull in and start talking to some ricers,i figured a race was brewing and sure enough the stroke and a cobalt ss started to pull out so i followed,they slowed down to like 20mph when they did the three beeps,i stomped on mine behind the 6.4 and within a second i had to switch lanes to pass him then flew up on the ss,they turned threw a madian and i went just down the road to turn around,when i came back up i noticed the ford setting on the side of the road,turns out he thought there was grass on the other side of the curve,needless to say it was a 3' drop into a culvert,His frame was setting on the curve,i told him i'd turn around and try to pull him out,his was a crew cab short bed,i put mine in 4 lo and tightened up,i saw his truck start to slide backwards so i gave it a little more and jerked him right up out,he said it wouldnt come outta there in 4wd,we went to the parking lot and talked,he was running the spartan 310,with an afe intake and dpf delete on the stock exhuast that he said was hollowed out,he said they heard me open my truck up behind them and he was like wtf!! he said that thing is sick,they wanted to go for a ride so we took off just playing aroound,the first thing he said was how nice it shifted,then lo and behold a regular cab cummins with 8" stacks comes up with some d-bag hanging out the window yellin at up,he says on the coount of three,on the third beep[ he floors it and smoke rolls,i let him get his door at my bumber and i floored it and went flying by,i slowed down to try to get him to go again,he stayed back then comes flying up and swerves over at me,i just let it go so someone didnt get hurt. sorry this was so long but i had to share an awsome weekend!! seemed like all the diesels were out and wanted to race,and the cobalt ss was a full stage 2 kit,met a bunch of nice guys even though they had ricers and made a new powerstroke buddy.I want some kind of camera that mounts in the truck for that kind of stuff so i can share and don't have to type so much.:rockin

It was a blast!!!:drink, trey it ended up being the valve you showed me in the pump was put in backwards when it was built,he worked on it until 6 in the evening and got it done for me,Thanks for your help!! it runs abojut 150 now,i might just buy the bigger cooler just to drop it down some more for when summer gets here, How much will a bigger cooler like mike L's or ppe's drop temps?

I dont either,it seems like no one around here ever wants to race, but we have had over 330 inches of snow this winter so far so i think it had alot to do with cabin fever!!

The only thing the 6.4 messed up was his passengers side nerf bar,it bent it up a little bit but not bad,they were silver and he said he had black ones waiting to go on so he wasnt to worried. damn nice guy,he asked if i got on any forums and i said DURAMAX FORUM!! i said that site has saved my ass sevral times,he is a member of powerstroke nation and agreed that these forums are pricless. Yeah trey that valve is so close in size on each end that it is hard to tell.

Oh man does it shift!!! it shifts silky smooth in drive but when you push tow hual to race, it is an animal,you have to watch it!! i broke it loose florring it at around 35mph,kinda scared me...lol, Next up this spring TWINS!!:drink

These trucks are so freakin awsome,one of the ricer kids was like his truck has more torque than all of are cars together.lol, They do have some sweet cars,cobalt ss's s2000,srt-4's that have all kinds of stuff on em, and sevral talons/eclipses and vw's.
