i have an 08 and i blacked out the front bowtie and im not sure how im gonna get the back one painted black?? its a 2011 bed if that makes a difference... i hate seeing the front black and the back gold.. hah anyway thanks in advance guys.

i would use plasti dip, my buddy did that on his lmm, just tape off around it and then let it dry and peel off what you dont want painted

Take it off and replace it with a black one. Thats what I did on my 2011. I looks damn good in my opinion

I took my tailgate off and laid it on a spare tire I had and taped it off and wrapped the whole tailgate in newspaper and tape and sprayed it, turned out awesome!! of course mine says gmc and was more difficult but same concept..
