before i install my new aluminized 4" would it be a good idea to paint it all black (to help protect the "Cheapo" material, AND i figure the black will look better) before i install it? or is this not recomended.
im asking only because ive never heard of anyone doing this

you can do it. make sure you get high heat paint.

i would paint after its together. JMO pieces seem to slide together easier.

mine slid like crap when i painted parts that slide into each other. connect it outside of truck and paint it

what is a good paint that WONT wear out due to heat?

I'd do it after, I tacked my joints together because it would slip around a bunch. So maybe install, tack together then paint or something like that. jmo

Yea like mentioned above put it together first.. I used oven paint for mine.

nick do you have pictures? the only black exhaust ive seen waht MBRP and it was like $800 so forget that
