Blew head gaskets while stacking ppe with diablo extreame power puck. We are about to take the front end off the truck to do the head gaskets. We are adding a gt 40 r turbo ppe up pipes and manifolds while we have it apart. We are studing the heads with arp head studs. I am having the heads ported and re surfaced. I am going to have Idaho Rob re tune my truck after the additional mods. Any advice on other mods that I should do while we have it apart. Will my stock rods pistons hold up with these mods?
Thanks,

my advice would be put all the good stuff inside the motor while its down. you can add the bolt on stuff as you get extra money. A strong foundation will keep you smiling longer.

If you have an extra 5K laying around I would do rods, cut/coated pistons have it balanced, and maybe upgrade the valvetrain a little.
I would get a Garrett GT4202 or BW S464 if you build the inside. The 4094 isn't a very impressive turbo.

I agree with Chris. if you have the money, build it while it's apart. If not, you'll still be ok, but don't run it on the ragged edge or you risk bending a rod. I've also heard of mixed emotions on the 4094, there's probably better options for the money.

And you just as well get some injectors while you have things apart. That will only help it live longer, can't hurt in any way.

I was gunna say injectors. Less pulse width saves motors. but i had a question on that topic, so ima gunna ask, Can you just get injector nozzles or do you have to buy the complete injector set?

You take your nozzles off and send them out to ExtrudeHone. You can have 40% larger nozzles for around 400 bucks.
