Body lift on 2006 ext duramax on top of my pro comp suspension lift. are body lifts safe and dont mess with anything and what should i go with 2in 3in or bigger i want to go all out

I heard that body lifts cant go on the duramax due to the intercooler IIRC :cool:

It can be done, buts not as easy as it used to be. I have a 3" on my 09 and it took almost 2 days to install (I am very fussy).
Parts included in the kit may get the job done, but I found it better to cut and weld the intercooler pipe for a better fit. Radiator drop brackets needed to be modded, as well as some other small changes from the instructions.
I have never had a safety concern with any body lift I have installed for myself or others...

stick with suspension! i think the body lifts look pretty ugly even on top of the suspension lift. but thats just me. also you get more body roll!

Go with a suspension lift! Don't even think about a body lift

anyone know of a good 2 inch kit, i got the 7inch suspension lift but my tires rub and i just want the 2inch kit to get rid of the rubbing
