As a maintenance item, I want to check for any potential small boost leaks to keep mpg's as ideal as possible.

Anyone recommend a budget friendly boost tester for home use? I want one with a air compressor fitting and not a schrader type fitting.

Or maybe some plans to build my own?

I made my own. Intake boot, PVC end cap that matched the boot inside diameter, schrader valve (but you could just as easily use a compressor fitting), and a couple of hose clamps.

Only takes a few psi to find most leaks in my experience.

If I recall the stock hit side piping boot is 2.5".

I was advised not to pressure the intake size of the system before the turbo as to not potentially hurt the turbo bearing or seals.

I know this is an old post, but I got one from Calibrated Power or Duramax Tuner. Haven't used it yet
