I just upgraded to a Banks boost tube. Upon inspecting the original that has only done 60K I discovered quiet a wear patch in the aluminum tube. I will inspect the engine bay tomorrow for a possible culprit but as best I can tell it may have been a hard rubber hose rubbing the boost tube. Sounds unlikely but I'll check closer to make sure. I would suggest all owners of 05's should check to make sure theirs is not wearing through!!

ouch dude! mine was in quite a different place, I'll take a pic. It was about half way down the tube on the outside top area. I made sure the new boost tube was free of everything and added a cable tie here and there as a precaution.
