Hey im looking into ordering some HIDs but wanted to get all the bulb #'s fisrt. I've looked for about an hour reading threads and decided i would have better luck this way.
i need the #'s for the Fogs highs and lows
I am looking at 35w 6000k or 4500k lows; 35w 6000k or 4500k fogs; and 55w 8000k highs.
what would work the best. are 6k to hot for the fogs? i would like them to be a little blue though. and how much brighter are the 55w 8k as to the 35w 8k.

i would go with the 35w 8k they have a bluish tint and will not run as hot as the 55w the brightness is pretty hard to tell a difference it isnt much brighter with the 55k.

do you run them in the fogs? thats where i would like the blue at.

that'll work. but do the hids have the same numbers. i see a lot with H in them.

i run the 10000k 35w in my headlights and fog lights and it looks bad ass.. i removed the reflectors in the fog lights so its twice as bright

me and my buddy have the same exact lights but he has a 1500 chevy and i dont have a picture of mine but here is a picture of his
fogs and lows 35 watt 10,000 k



and your fog lights are most likely a 9145 bulb but are the same as an H10 stlye bulb

sweet thanks for the picuter that is bad ass. thinkin 10k will look really good. your fogs don't get to hot do they? thats what im worried about most.

remember that is my buddys 1500 chevy. not my sierra. 10k is pretty white from close up but from more than 10 feet away they are very blue. clear like 4500k is gonna be your brightest light.

his fogs donw get too hot but you sure can feel the heat.
he kept his highs the stock halogen for the flash to pass feature cause HIDS take some time to warm up.

ah gotcha. yeah i was looking at the colors on there site. 6000k and 8000k seem to be more what im looking for. probably 6000k lows and highs and 8000k fogs for the color.
do you remeber the bulb number though? got the fog #.

i would match your fogs to your lows
i would do 35w 8000k lows and 8000k fogs
with 6000k highs

thank you. thats kinda what i was lookin at as well. but maybe 6000k instead of 8000k for more of a white.
