IMHO, if the Dmax store has OEM for around $50.00, that's the route I would go. Another thing you might try is get the part number for the OEM stops and do a search. I think the OEM jounce bumpers are around ~$80USD.

You can find the same part from GM Direct for $17.46 but shipping probably adds up to about the same.
I'm going to try the Z71 type and see how they work.
