Hello

I posted this on the electronics forum too.

I have a 2017 GMC 2500hd Denali that is having tail light issues. I am trying to find replacements but it seems impossible. Are the original tail lights for this model and year led because that seems to be a trigger point?

It is my understanding that if you replace non led with led there is a wiring harness required? If anyone can shed light on this I’d appreciate it as I just want to find lights that replace what I have and every search tells me they don’t match.

Thanks.

With the prices I see for aftermarket, they must be integrated LEDs.

IIRC, there is a requirement to make some sort of wiring changes and perhaps the addition of a resistor in the wiring circuit for the tail lights.'dunno;
