I bought an Lly last year and I am about to put the heads back on. I saved up enough extra to either do an egr delete or a lift pump. From those of you that have done these, where would my money be better spent?
The blocker plate would require a tune. Id do the LP, and save for the tune.I would go for the lift pump and auxiliary filtering and water separation, and a <$30 blocker plate for the EGR.

I thought that the lift pump provided extra protection for the injectors with more filtration. Is that not the case? And also gives the cp3 a little break, but it’s hard to argue against 330k miles.My LLY has over 330k miles running a 100hp tune for 240k of those miles and its never needed or wanted a lift pump.

What setup do you have? And what do you mean by worry free?Oops, yes you need an egr blocker plate and "finger stick" to make the smog equipment happy, for about $55 (Kennedy Diesel), especially for a non-FE9 LLY. Lift pump and auxiliary filtering and water separation still highly recommended for worry-free traveling!
Thats not a fact.... not even close.... because it is a well known fact that the CP3 is happier that way.
