oh i see what your saying now freddy, yeah get another picture if you would when you get a chance
ya basically it is a angled 10 degrees back from the center to the upside. thuse helping exuast gas exit quickeroh i see what your saying now freddy, yeah get another picture if you would when you get a chance
nope not at all. actually clipping a turbine wheels lowers EGT's quite a bit. clipped turbine wheel on a completely stock turbo will lower egt's 100-200 degree at peak and drop drive pressure ALOT. you do give up alittle bit of spool time but not much.not worried about high egts melting the thin edge of the wheel?
like i said disadvantage is slightly slower spoolup but with a VVT turbo you can compensate forsure with vane postion. on the IHI's though with the port and polish and modded intake horn its still 400 rpm's faster then stock hoping to drop about 100-200 with the new compressor wheels. get it down to 12-1300.Advantage for this is Lower egt's and quicker exit of exhaust gas...kinda go hand in hand but,
Disadvantages to doing this???
Sorry, if this is a stupid question!

ya its taking alot longer then i thought for those but they are finally in process. i was going to have them a few weeks ago but had problems with the programming as we rewrote in and added extended tips to the wheels as well to even alittle faster spoolupGreat looking stuff, if/when you wanna start selling these and the compressor wheel, count me in! Great job man.
