hey guys this is my first post but have used the site many times. I have a 2002 duramax lb7 145,XXX. I have noticed a clunking when i take off from a complete stop or accelerate very hard. from reading the formus i got two common problems for these trucks the slip yoke and the ujoints. I pulled the driveshaft off replaced both(with the aftermarket nickle plated yoke). but when i drove it agian the clunking was not gone. I'm stumped!!!! any help would be greatly appreciated!

Did you grease the slip yolk?

also the t-case is not leaking oil. i know that is another common problem with the rub in there

yes i did! and very generously with the proper grease that i bought from the dealership
