Well spring break is here and its going to rain all weekend Soooo its time to take the truck apart and color match everthing ((handles, tow mirrors and a few surprises))!! Truck is white so it should look really clean when im done. Still debating whether to paint the rear bumper plastics and tailgate gaurd or not. I've looked at it both black and white for hours and can't decide... Im really worried about it looking like crap in a year from stepping on them. Let me know what you think Im pumped! :drink

i wouldnt paint the plastics on the bumpers....a little bit of color contrast is good and like u said i think it will chip easily...but im on spring break too and didnt end up going to cancun unfortunately so ive been working on my truck too! i guess its not a bad way to spend my break!

Gotta love spring break! Cancoon does sound good too haha. I am leaning to doing the rear pads but im still in the air. I have a hookup to the 3m paint protetion film.. I was debateing whether to put the film on the top of all the pads where you would step and the top of the tailgate protector.. Anyone use the stuff? Think it would hold? If its going to just flake I won't bother, but I think it will look pretty sweet!

BTW kevin shulllbz your truck looks sick! Did you paint or buy those handles?? I like the chrome piece the guy I bought mine from just put he little covers on the handles, but they need to get ripped off to paint..

:rof I was honestly JUST talking to my body man tonight about this. I did mine 3 years ago and painted the rear pad but tapped off the squares. Over the years the rear pad started to flake around the squares. I think Im going to paint the entire pad this spring and see how it works. But, I wouldnt paint the top cap... Thats just me

I'm doing the same thing to my truck " my avatar". I already ordered my painted flares and door handles off ebay they will be here monday!!!:rockin And I can't wait to take the "highly hispanic" "as some call it" chrome handle covers off!!:rof gotta Love the clean look
