Okay so this is kind of like my last post but Im just confused.
So everyone says to get either the S&B, Volant, or AFe cold air intake but at the same time everyone is saying not to get a filter that is oiled BUT those 3 company's(S&B, Volant, and AFe) all use oiled filters! So is it bad to use oiled filters or not? What do I do? help me out

Personally I would get an oiled filter if I were you, I have and AFE and it has been good. However if you have an 06' or newer LLY/LBZ duramax you can just do the intake mod and keep your stock intake Tyreboyz has the link posted in one of the other threads.

i had a oiled S&B filter in my LLY and after replacing 3 MAF sensors i got rid of the oiled filter and bought another S&B filter and installed it in the S&B box,i don't remeber if it was suppose to be a oiled filter or not but i didn't oil it thats for sure..
