Cover for chipping steering wheel?

My truck, like so many others, has the black rubber peeling off of the center of the steering wheel. I'm sure you guys know what I am talking about.

My question is do any of you guys know of any aftermarket covers for this? I have some dash kits that include covers but I really don't want to buy a whole kit.

It is part numbers 17&18 on the LTZ image that I am looking for.

Should be able to get those pieces from GM. Cheaper than a dash kit.

Well that would be one solution, but we are tailking about covering up the black inserts that always peel by the cruise control and radio switches. On the steering wheel in the link it would be the silver area.

Cruise control? That is the only thing I don't like about my truck, it doesn't have it. I would like to find out how to add it though. Mine is peeling a little too.

Mine are peeling as well. I actually contacted the eBay seller in the link a few post up. It appears you have to unplug (if that's the right word) the airbag to get those pieces replaced then reconnect the airbag. I'm not even gong to attemp that with my terrible mechanical skills. Probably would cost a lot.

But I was wondering... Anybody try using a razor blade to remove the rest of the peeling material? At least then it would all match.

3M vinyl wrap. I bought a 1' x 5' piece off eBay and did all the wood with a good foot or so left over.

Door plates were the hardest to get right, but overall a pretty low-key effort.
