Quick question on curb weight. I just picked up a new 2024 Silverado HD Custom with Duramax and Z71 package. The vehicle has the max trailering package with the 3500 HD frame, springs, rear axle, and shocks. According to Chevy documentation the 2500 standard bed 4wd diesel curb weight should be 7719. Given this truck has the 3500 axle, springs, frame and shocks, I pulled up the Chevy documentation for a 3500 HD SRW diesel 4wd and it has a published curb weight of 7876. My truck door decal has curb weight at 8117. Anyone have any insight as to where the extra curb weight is coming from?
