I have been researching brake rotor and pad recommendations. I found a old post from March of 2012 ( I think ) where someone had inquired about Raybestos S slotted rotors. Has anyone had any experience with the rotors and pads.
Raybestos used to be well known and had a good reputation.
Thanks in advance for some information.

I just stick with the OEM stuff these days. Work well, and last a LONG time.

Thank you for the reply. I should have included I do pull some 30,000 lb loads on occasion and I am looking to upgrade the trucks brakes. I do use the tow/ mode and the trailer brakes are in good condition.
Again thank you.!

While researching brake rotors It appears that raybestos slotted rotors and GM slotted rotors are manufactured by the same co.
Has anybody installed the GM slotted rotors and GM pads for use in towing heavy trailers.
Thanks

I am actually currently running China rotors and Wagner thermo-quiet pads. No real issues here towing 7,000 lbs around Michigan. All the salt and brine on our roads in the winter just eat the hell out of rotors so while I like the OE rotors little bit better for “feel” they don’t last any longer really for me. I’m hard on brakes though too.
