the top bolt on my fan shroud fell out when i was towing 3k and hit my fan ruining it, it then happened to my friend a couple weeks later on his lmm, check your bolts, has this happened to anyone else?

no i have a delete and programmer so i haven't took it in yet, i think it might be easier to buy a new fan than to switch all the parts, it still works but all the edges are worn off so i haven,t driven it since
If you saved your stock exhaust put it back on and put the tuner back to stock. Then take it in. They should in reality fix it regardless since neither the programmer nor the exhaust caused that to happen.
yeah i have the stock exhaust and could put it back on, i need to look in to see how much the new fan blades are before i take the time to do it, i could take it in and get them to fix it the way it is, but then if/when something major happens they will know about my mods and i will be screwed, my buddy got his fixed today so i am waiting to see the price of the part
just wait a little while and take the new parts from you buddy on his truck and put on yours take your old parts and he can tell them it done it again, just thinking if they can be crooked why not us
Had something similiar happen to my couple weeks ago while towing the shroud/radiator seal got sucked out and fan threw it into radiator busting it took it to dealer and 657.00 later they said they don't know why it happen probably due to those bolts getting loose I don't know all I know is they sakes it wasn't defective go figure
just take it in. The only time they will say something is when its a major repair like tranny, rear end. atleast thats what my dealer told me.
