Hi just a few questions
My 2016 3500 GMC dually diesel has been sitting in barn for 2.5 years
started occasionally for short time just to move back and forth.
1- the DeF and fuel tank where filled before I put in storage. Also put one full bottle of fuel stabilizer
2- How long can this sit in the tanks or should empty and put new in.
3-should I change fuel filter before I take out of storage
4- Do you have any other recommendation on what should be done before I start driving again.
Thanks for the help

Cold climate area? DEF has a shelf life of about a year, depending on where you live.

After 3.5 years, your fuel should be drained, even if properly stabilized. I wouldn't worry about changing the filter unless you experience any rough running or surging.

Definitely check everything after sitting that long, especially if it's been subjected to cold temps. 👍
