Hey I was wondering how do you get ahold of Diesel Power magazine or Diesel World magazine? I would like to see if they were interested in doing a article on my truck.
No, do i need to?do you subscribe to either of them?
they won't even give you the time of day man.No, do i need to?
I have contacted them before to no avail.I was told, you could call/e-mail and ask. If you meet their "standards" then you get a article. Do I fit these "standards"?
Yea everything thats on the cover or majority of the articles are Ford or Dodge.oh ya, i forgot, you don't have a ford or dodge, so there's definitely no way you'll get in.![]()
I dont think you should be so negative man. I have personally contacted Diesel World and let them know what some local people were putting together and had about 10 trucks willing to dyno. Anyways they sent a free lance guy out to cover the event. This event was put together on another forum as one of our monthly meets. Also after i emailed them they responded later that day. Any thing can happen and thats why I emailed them. If i would have listened to people like you I would have never had them cover the event.they won't even give you the time of day man.
Every article/feature they do on a truck is either a buddy of a buddy, paid 'em a bunch of $ to drop some advertising hints, or a shop owners pal, or some deal like that.
I am right there with you. I am a very young business owner, and still no go.Well thats bullsh**, I thought they would be interested on doing a 19 YEAR OLD's Duramax. I hate that they only accept people with money. What about the people who work and add their parts little by little, the REAL people?

great worldly advice right thereI'd stay with it and see where it goes. All it takes is getting ahold of the right guy.
I jus wanted to show, that even a person my age, can have a awesome truck if they put their mind to it. And plus it would be freakin sweet to be in a magazine!I'd stay with it and see where it goes. All it takes is getting ahold of the right guy.
