Here is a list of the first part of the build.

Lift- Cogntio 4-6 inch NTB with New Fox shocks
Tires - 35/12.5/22 Toyo MT's

Did you order the project truck, or just by from a dealer? I just ordered mine and I noticed they had the option of 4.10 gears. if I am going to run 33's or 35's should I have ordered the 410's instead of the 3.73's? would that have helped my mpg? Just wondering, they haven't started to build it yet, so I might be able to make the change. It's only a $100 more for the 4.10's

4:10 ratio has never been an option with an Allison. Although maybe that changed for 2012 and I hope so?But I did check and it you could only get a 3:73 in 2011.

You are correct! I just went on the GM site and did a build. the 4.10 ratio is only available for the Vortec. Which is totally messed up. What does it run to do the swap? and is it even worth it, if all I am going to do is exhaust, maybe a quad programmer and all the deletes. I pull a 26' covered 4 place snowmobile trailer.

It really depends on the tire size. If your going to run 35" tires I would say gears are a must and you will want 4:56's. With 33" tires and a light trailer you wont notice much difference but 4:10's will be a benefit. Gears and labor to instal can run up to $2500 depending on wheather or not you ad new diff covers and what fluid you use.
As with anything some shops will be cheaper than others. Just make sure you get some one who knows what they are doing.

hello,

im a little curious about the benefit to running these Kryptonite LML Tie Rods

its more of a structural advantage for going offroad, not a "feeling" advantage right? OEM and aftermarket tie rods will all drive and feel the same correct, obviously these Krp ones would be alot stronger

just thinking mine are worn is all since i had the truck leveled for so long before i lifted it, and i "hear" that leveling will make parts wear out faster.....any input ?

credit card ready haha

Wow, that's a really clean install of the AD. Does that bracket come with the kits?

You will use your factory torsion keys. Torsion bolt adjustment will always determine your final ride height just like factory. No need to max out the adjustments.

After years of avoidance EFI-LIVE is now supporting the LML. Idaho Rob plowed his way through a west coast snow storm on Monday night and dropped us of a sample of what he has been working on. Although the tuning is not quite ready for the retail market we are thoroughly impressed. Nothing else compares.

While Rob was making some tweaks on our LML, Dmaxstore added some style to his. With our new leveling kit with Fox shocks and some sweet 18" wheels and tires.
