Do I Need a New Fuel Injection Control Module?

I have been fighting a weird issue with my truck for over a year and have upgraded every fuel delivery item that can be thought of in the process. My injector pulse width will randomly drop to half of its normal value if you build above 15-18 psi of boost. Truck is normal under 15-18 psi but above that its similar to being in limp mode. Once it does it once it will continue until I turn the truck off and let it sit for a few hours. Seems to be somewhat heat related (as in when the truck is warm its more likely to occur versus cold), but also happens anytime you try to hold the truck with the brakes while building boost.

I feel my last 2 things that can be wrong are the FICM or the injection pump. I dont feel like the pump is bad because there is very little difference in the desired and actual rail pressure. I am getting no codes so Im kind of in the dark. Is there a way I can check my Fuel Injection Control Module? Or is there anything else that may be wrong? Any help is greatly appreciated.

similarproblem

my truck runs great empty or cold but warm and loaded I have to sneek up on speed. came across NE Texas last night pulling wifes car.At start off from trafic lights have to let off for every shift as motor wont rev once I get to overdrive I had it as fast as 86 MPH but had to back off to climb hills as not to downshift b/c then it falls on face.I have changed f/f three times in 8 mos. aprox.2800 miles in 8 mos. any ideas would be apreciated.

Because you have a LLY-- Everyone should check this--At the side of the alternator, the FICM harness tied down with a Zip tie. Cut the tie and pull the wires from the harness and inspect for cuts and wear. The sharp corner of the FICM bracket where it is tied down to, cuts into the wires. Repair and insulate the harness with a short piece of heater hose.

Another issue with the LLY is the FPRV-- It can bleed off rail pressure at higher RPM. The bottle test will show if you have a problem.--Here is some info on the "Bottle Test".

On the drivers side fuel rail-- to the back and next to the Turbo, you will see a "U"
shaped 3/8 hose-- remove the hose from the fuel rail-- and plug the hose.

Now attach a 3/8 hose to the fuel rail nipple, and stick the end in a bottle. Now drive the truck hard-- with several wide open runs-- if there is any fuel in the bottle the FPRV [fuel pressure relief valve] is leaking main pressure from the fuel system.

The FPRV is a plug looking part that screws in the back of the driver's fuel rail. Many just increase the pressure with a couple washers, to help hole the pressure. Others use a "Race" plug [not recommended] available from supporting vendors.

I have data logged the rail pressure and im not losing rail pressure. Besides I have The FPRV shimmed.

Already checked the harness.

Its not constant sometimes it will run like a raped ape other times its running out of fuel at 18psi of boost.
