I’m new to the forum and duramaxes. I may be in the market for an lb7 in the future. I know there were injectors issues with the lb7 and I wanted to know how good remaned injectors r. If I buy a truck it’ll be higher mileage (probably close to 200k maybe a little more) and will definitely have remaned injectors but I wanna know how long they should last before needing replaced. I know longevity will be brand specific but let’s say they are Bosch stock remans. I need to have an estimate because I can’t afford to buy a truck and pay a few grand to get the injectors replaced a year after I get a truck.

My neighbor has replaced his LB7 injectors twice. First time was with Bosch remans and they lasted 63k miles. Second time was with new Bosch injectors and they lasted 138k. Remember the old adage: pay once, cry once...

Conner... I suggest you contact Brent at Lincoln Diesel Specialists. They are a supporting vendor and he's better suited to answer your questions.

I didn’t realize they made new ones still, I heard someone say that no one made new ones only remans so that’s good to know.
