b4 i take my dash apart does my chevy have a 3.5mm hole in the back for like my ipod or whatever?

its a in dash 6 dics , bose system is says aux on the front..?

so can i plug a cord in the back and run it to the front .?

my 04 with the bose and 6 disc cd changer did not have any ports in the back. i went to crutchfield and bought an aux input jack. Then i had to buy a cable to run from my sirius radio to the aux jack.

Man for $70 you might as well just put that toward an aftermarket deck, my brother an aftermarket deck in his factory bose system and it really woke it up. Plus its got imputs, usb and jack.

so we can use a aftermarket deck with all the stock bose crap? i have a nice deck on the shelf but the ol lady likes the 6 disc changer in da dash thing but i might switch it out


did u just get a wiring harness and plug n play the cd player in there or do u need to special wire the bose stuff up to the new deck

I bought the little modual thingy to keep the chime, and a harness adapter so I didnt have to chop any of the factory wiring (good if you wanna take the deck out and put the old back in when its time to sell). It all plugs in where your old radio was, no messing around with anything else in the truck. You dont need that 6 disc changer, put every song you own on a 4 gig usb storage device and leave it plugged in somewhere. You wont even use cd's anymore.

Yea i spent 1800 on my navi in dash
And then freaked out when the wiring adapter for the onstar and all tthe other bull was $250

That's a great deal. It won't F up your chime, and you can utilize your steering wheel controls and headunit controls... or... just use your ipod controls. Love mine!
