What are these plugs really for , do you need a tuner to runs these ?

I believe those plugs are for capping the wires/sensors and injectors for the exhaust system. Since that would also mean you're disabling those components, it would require custom tuning for the ECM as well.

I work on semi trucks for a living and for Volvo trucks they have what’s called an emulator it taps into you ecm and tells it everything is there and finé without it being there ,so there’s no programming needed
I was hoping this would do the same thing but I can’t get a straight answer from anyone

@Noslen , you're discussing something that disables emissions systems. That's why no one will talk to you. Unfortunately, the EPA has shut down shops and tuners offering these.
We've also updated our rules on this forum and these discussions are no longer allowed since the EPA used this forum against the community. I'm shutting the thread, but the info you seek is already out there.
