Just picked up a 2006 LBZ Duramax and it’s my first duramax. Anyone know what that rubber drain hose is? Thanks!

The substance that is coming out of the hose will likely tell you what you want to know.

Could also be a PCV reroute hose. That’s what mine looks like. Follow it up and see if it comes from the valve covers.

That's the first year GM installed the in cab operator 'on the fly' relief port. A taste test will supply the results.
