I recieved my Efi Live today and cant recieve my stock information cause its says i dont have the correct drive, it says it cant read cause of the drive, i down loaded the drives from EFILIVE.com but still wont work what do i have to do to solve this problem anyone know what i can do?

What type of programmer do you have on the truck now? i have tried to download some tunes from other tuners and it wont connect if there is a "piggyback" type of tuner. If your computer setup is ok, it will read any type of "flashed" tune. someone help me out here.

Normally its just Vista that has Driver problems. Does the Flashscan turn on when you plug it into your computer?

Yes its on, and the orange light is flashing on the scan tool

Alright. Did you download the EFILive 8.1 build yet? If not download that and install that and open it up and there is a spot to update Firmware. I was having the same problem last week. The Flashscan needs to be updated.

Yes i downloaded 8.1, ill try and ubdate firmware

I Updated the install updates in 8.1 and it said it was sucessfully updated, did i need to have the Flash scan v2 hooked up to computer when i did that

Now hook up the flashscan and then open the 8.1 and click the upgrade firmware.

I just found were it said Firmware

Yeah have your flashscan plug in and update the firmware on the left column toward the middle.

Ok, i did the update in EFILive Scan and Tool (Install Updates) and it sucessfully updated the software, BUT the Flash Scan v2 was not hooked up to computer, so i then hooked it up and did the same thing and it said there are not anymore updates at this time, im lost

Dang I don't know what else to try without looking at my computer if someone doesn't chime in here I'll check it out tomorrow morning when i get home.
