Hi guys,
I'm new to the duramax. i just bought a 06 gmc ccsb 4wd about mouth ago. the truck has a 6" lift on 35" tires and been that way since it was new. I notice the front diff was leaking it was coming from the driver side seal ok so take it in to a local shop to change the seal but then referred me to a diff shop long story short the cv axle was bad cause it to pull the stub shaft out about 1 1/2" causing the leak. well a day later i see a pool under the front diff and sure enough the stub shaft is pulled out again. the truck has had this lift and tires since new why is this problem happen now and how to fix it? the truck does sit higher in the front then the back so i was thinking of adjusting the t-bars to lower the front. i dont know what the acceptable limits are for cv axle angles are or maybe it needs cv axle spacers might solve this? any input would be helpful thanks
