I was towing my boat on a dirt road with steep hills so I put in 4H to stop rear wheels from spinning. When I got to pavement I forgot to switch to 2H and drove 3.5 hours at 60-70 mph on pavement. When I got home I tried to turn around in a small culdisack and truck did not turn well at all, that is when I realized it was still in 4H. I took of of 4 high and drive about 100 yards and parked it. Do you think I damaged front transaxle? I have to unhook boat tonight and drive it around to see if all is ok.

Owners manual says not to drive on pavement in 4H for extended periods of time. If you do it will prematurely wear it.

I've done that before in my old Z71. I ran 80mph down the interstate for bout 30 miles, when I got off the exit ramp I noticed it was a little hard to turn, switched her back to 2 wheel drive and never had any problems.
