since i rarely ever use the "stock" setting on my DSP switch would it hurt to bump the idle up on that setting to say 1100RPM's? and that can be done to just one tune correct?

Hey Buck theres a way to hook up a high idle switch. Its done sort of the same way as a DSP. I'll try to find the link. I'm doing it for A/C in the summer.

Hey Chris, let me know if you find that setup. I'd like to put a high idle switch in mine if it can't be programmed in.

Yeah Chris I have a buddy that has an 03 LB7 that wants a high idle switch can it be done without EFI Live? I know I can adjust the idle in EFI Live but he doesn't have it.

Found the switches on xtremediesel, they have one for 01-04 and one for 01-05. Any more ideas?

I thought the LBZs had a factory elevated idle. You may have to go through a process to activate it, but it works off of temp rather than a switch.

The elevated idle switch for the LB7s is a great mod for heat in the winter and A/C in the summer.

Here's the article for LBZ high idle switch. This is totally different from elevated idle.
