Dual EGT Gague?

2428 Views 26 Replies 8 Participants Last post by  WisconsinHick1
Do anyone have a Dual EGT gauge I have done some looking and they are hard to find thats for sure. I am looking into them because when I upgrade my manifolds and up pipes I would like to be able to monitor both sides. I found one electric one that I like that would mount in my roof center council real well but would like to see if anyone has one.

Are you wanting a standard looking round gauge, cause you could pick up a bully dog or equiv lcd readout one pretty cheap im sure.

I know the bullydog one has 2 EGT ports.
You could get an aeroforce scangauge. They have two auxillary inputs that I'm sure you could configure to do EGT on both of them. It displays two parameters at once, so you'd be set!
This one doesn't look too bad....pretty pricey though.

Ok here's a different page that has it.
mm kinda cool....but how do you mount it??

It looks like it would almost fit in the overhead slot. Or some velcro on your dash....but I like neatness and the ability to view it without looking up, so I would prob stick with a 2 1/4" roundy.

But its personal preference.

Mine would go up on the overhead slot. I personally don't look at mine much other then towing. Plus I like the idea of as it gets hotter the screen goes to a red.

yeah the warning is pretty awesome. At least on that site, it has the dimensions of them...granted its metric...but whatever

I had a set of delphi gauges in my subaru that did that...best gauges ever...programable with a memory function. and they looked amazing.
I have seen them before! IIRC here called "double sweep" gauges in a round hole. They would be pretty cool to have. Put one in the left and one on the right manifold. :rockin

Yeah it would be nice to be able to monitor both sides! :rockin
You will find them used more in the marine industry.

I have speedhut.com Gauges and they are programable too. they look nice also. You can build them anyway you want to on thier site..
good call on the marine those are sweet
I see that they are all 1600* I think I should be fine with those. I have a 2000* one right now but don't see it too high unless Im pulling.
If you go much higher than 1200 you will be doing damage to your engine unless you have internal work done... Mine runs about 800 @75 mph.
I meant truck pulling 300' of all out pedal to the metal. Only last a few seconds when it gets up that high.
