My truck cuts out liek that as well..
We have changes the ECM, FICM, fuel press regulator, BCM
NO CODES.. even with scan tools
While it is cutting out the look at all the perameters and everything looks fine.
It holds rail pressure.
Changed crank sensor and cam sensor as well.
Stumping 4 shops.

Fuel filter has been changed numorous times

have you replaced the fuel lines by the left valve cover? Just one possibility....they are known to collapse under load. I would think it would drop rail pressure but not sure.

Rail pressure stays good.. We can turn it up with the scan tool.
Weird that it does it at 2500rpm only...
I would think a line collapsing would do it in different areas..
It does this in neutral or drive every gear.

Smoke? Black? Excessive? Any other symptoms besides the power loss?

No other symptoms.
Doesnt smoke. Injectors were done 10 months ago.
Balance rates are all around +/-1
But two are around the 3-4 mark. I believe its inj 4 and 6 that are.

Cuts out at 2500 no mater what huh? Almost sounds like a tuning issue. Talk with who did the tuning to compensate for the turbo. I am by means no expert but am trying to help.

We put it back to the most up to date STOCK tune and it still does it.

It's very odd. Almost like hitting a rev limiter then, right? I wish I could be of more service. Yet, with no symptoms it seems like some MAJOR digging into the truck must be done.

Kind of like a rev limiter... It is more like on off on off on off VERY abrupt and fast.. jerky.
When I hold it at the point of it doing it, it shakes and also sounds like it is compression breaking. As if some of the injectors are not injecting fuel.
