ECM Connector Repair

I went to pop the ECM connectors off and I found the pins on the side of the connector are broken for two of the plugs. After cleaning everything up the cam does not fully mate the plug up to the ECM unless I finesse it in. Are there any options to repair the ecm PCB ports for the two broken pins? Does this require a new ECM?

I doubt that you can repair the pin ears, I have never seen them sold and suspect the connectors are attached to the circuit board. Personally speaking, if it is working well otherwise I would just use a 1" "LOOP" style ratchet strap around the ecm and its connectors. I would tighten it each day until you work the stretch out of the strap. I am not necessarily recommending this one in the image, but this style is what I recommend so you don't have hooks to deal with. You can cut this down to ~24"

Yeah, the pin ears must have broke while popping the plug, even though it didn't feel tight.
I was able to press them on and start the truck, but I have doubts it wouldn't vibrate out while driving. A ratchet may work for a bit. Unfortunately it sounds like a new ecm to fix these lame plastic pins.
Wasn't there a company that made billet port replacements? They machined the pastic off and bonded the billet port to the old plastic?

Yeah, I feel I inherited the problem when I bought it considering the mud build up on chassis and missing red locking clips on the molex connectors. I did not pry, just working the cams up and down gently until it released. I didn't think the little pin ears would break...always thought the cams were the junk portion...pretty disappointing. The pins were stuck in the cam slider when I wiggled the Connectors off. I didn't notice until I went to reconnect and the 2 plugs were not seated fully giving a no start.
Are there any companies that machine billet replacements for this ecm still or is it just for e46 ecms?

Understood. It is always best to push the plug on relatively firmly (with the lever in the fully open position), with light force, BEFORE throwing the levers. Never force a lever that is not moving smoothly and easily. If you find a fix for this, let us know. Yeah, if the red locks were not in place, somebody else probably ham-fisted it.
