Just got my v2 in and I put the software on my computer, did the update, and was downloading the scan and tune tool software and there is version 7.5 and 8, I just downloaded both is that ok? Which do i use? Whats the difference?

you need to download both.....and then in the options part of each run updates after you download them.

The 7.5 will be the tuning and scan tool software and the 8 is for the boot box or the hand held device that transfers the information between the computer and the truck.

Alright guys thank you, yea I was curious so just downloaded both and I belive I ran updates for both I'll check after work.thank you.. One more question.. I'm using a temporary laptop right now, when I get another laptop , is it just as easy as putting the efilive cd in the computer and loading it on the new computer?
