I am wondering, If I bypass my EGR, using a plate and stick could I still pass emissions down in lower 48 states. I am in Alaska deisel exempt(no-emissions), but will be moving to Texas in May were they have emissions stuff. Any thoughts. Or ideas?
In texas i dont know, but here i pa (where we have real strict emissions) i have had no issues. the emissions here are pretty much if the check engine light is not on, it passes. we also have a visual emissions check to make sure all the factorty stuff is in place but yuo cant really tell the blocker is there unless you tear it apart!
i am in mississippi and they do not check a thing on emissions. i think texas is the same way on emissions. i know la is alittle stricter but they only check the emissions if you have an older car.
