after a week at the dealership

the mechanic told me that fuel pressure readings are erratic and that he could not control it and doesnt seem to know why

what could causes this?

fuel pressure regulator on the pump could cause it, the injection pump itself could be an issue

how many miles do you have on your truck? are you runnin any tunes?

Does it lope at idle?? also when you let off the brake does it kinda wanna go on its own and pull through the brakes??? if so its more than likely a FPR

the issue is engine limp hard start and rough idle

all new in this order
fpr
fuel lines
lift pump
mass flow air sensor
cp3 pump

no tunes stock
engine limp was the first issue

well have you tryed checking the fuel rail? the duramax is a very tempermental engine, as you may know by now.......or try checking for chaffed spots on the injector wires.....

another question why cant he controll pressure with his computer and if he cant control pressure then the truck may not be able either any ideas

well bc the cp3 and your fpr and fprv are basically mechanical, not electrical like almost everything else... well you may know but (0094 is small fuel leak)(0093 is low fuel rail pressure during fuel enrichment)and if you have replaced all of those things then i would try pressurizing the fuel tank to see if you have any leaks in your fuel line. i havent done this to mine but it sounds very simple. take a look around and get some facts on it and try it, the best part is its free and takes little time, after all the things that you have replaced it looks like you need a $ break......lol
