My 05 ( with 4" exh, chip, intake ) is throwing P0401 =EGR flow insufficient and P0404= EGR control circuit performance.

Do I need to worry about these codes? Will it effect my truck negatively? Can I run with them on?

I have run my truck with the same codes for about a year with no problems. The cel turns off some time but at this point i think it looks funny with out it on.

You can install a "Finger Stick" which is available from many vendors, and that wil prevent the light from coming on.

Ive heard about the fingerstick , but can I just leave it as is???
