Got all my parts yesterday and started the build today. I am puting a PPE Stage 5 trans rebuild in my alli and i cant wate till its done. Got the trans out today going to tear it down tomarrow after work and get it built and back in by the weekend.

I bought new pitman and idler arms the cognito support kit and tierod sleves so my front end will be all fixed up aswell cant wate to drive it! :gearjamin

I agree! That would be great if you could take a few pics when your taking it apart and putting it back together that would be great! I know thats the last thing youll be thinking about when doin the job though :rof

Well i got it in but dont have enough Torque drive to drive it. I woul dave never guessed i would need more then 5gal. Oh well if i cant find eny tomarow ill have to wate till monday but she shifted NICE on the lift.

Sory i dident make a how to thread but im not good enough with the computer to do that and if you dont have eny experiance with transmissions you prob dont want to tackle the job yourself.

Will let you know how it turned out as soon as i get my hands on some more Amsoil.

Got the last three quarts of amsoil in tonight and relearned the trans. THE BEST UPGRADE TO DATE!!!!

If you are on the rock about upgrading your trans i say do it and you will never regret spending the money. Now i need to get EFI and start saving for twins.

Sounds like its goin to be fun. Makes me kinda glad that i bought a converter today now i don't feel as bad about spendin all that money since u said it was worth it haha.

trust me, i have been in the diesel seen for a long time.... a tranny thats built is truely the foundation for good clean power
