This may sound like a totally stupid idea, but I thought it would be cool to have an exhaust cutout in the downpipe of an exhaust.:fart I dont know if this would be effective or harmful to the engine. I figure the faster it can get out the better. Someone correct me if im wrong or share your experience if you have done this.

Hmm so you want to put cutouts to make the exhaust come out near the front to eliminate the cat and muffler which also adds horsepower and noise? That would be pretty cool but extreamly loud. It would be cool but Id make the cut out behind the cab.

Be pretty loud. No engine damage or anything. The turbo provides back pressure against the motor. After the turbo you want the exhaust out as quick and easy as possible. Look at all the sled pullers with hood stacks.

Depends on the laws in your area. Ohio doesnt have many inspection laws so Id guess so.
