Recently I have noticed that my truck has white smoke at start up. The truck normally doesnt do it. Im still loosing anti-freeze and dont know where it is going. My injectors are all in the normal range. Can the white smoke be due to a blown headgasket? If not what is the white smoke from?

just due to the nature of these Lb7s my guess would be the injectors ... do you know the last time they were done

I know about the lb7 with injectors but they all read ok. Can they still be bad?

change ur fuel filter if u havnt and run alot of diesel additive(diesel kleen)

Most likely injectors. Check your fuel filter before you go about buying injectors

White smoke is Almost always associated with Coolant....IE Headgaskets....in no way is it associated with too much or too little fuel...

Injectors tend to haze a black smoke....

Blue smoke tends to be oil caused by blowby/ worn piston rings.

My injectors tested great at the dealership but had smoke on start up and diesel in the oil. Headgaskets were also weeping down the back of the block. Never a puddle, just needed to top off the coolant tank every couple weeks. Got a quote of around 8k for injectors/head gaskets from the dealership so just ended up doing the repairs myself.
