Ok so I'm going to buy helper bags and I'm just looking for input on which kit is better, easier to install and so on, the Firestone kit or the Air Lift Kit. Just looking for word of wisdom thanks

^ +1 I've never heard anything bad about the air lift kits

I have installed a firestone kit with a buddy of mine on his rig and he hasn't had any issues with his though, so i feel it is also a quality kit as he has put 20k+ of 5th wheel time on them.

however when it comes time for me to add some i'm going airlift.

I also want to air bag my truck. I was looking at the Air Lift wireless system and a set of there bags. Talked to a guy that has the Air Lift wireless system and Firestone bags and he really like it ?

We have installed both systems on trucks at our shop. I think that you can't go wrong with either brand. If you need any help let me know.
So there both good systems. Is there a pro or con with either kit I guess then. I'm leaning towards Air Lift unless Firestone offers something better.

Did you ever order the bag? If so, are they installed?

I just ordered the AirLift LoadLifter 5000 along with the wireless air system. Waiting on the order to be delivered...

Do you have any pictures or any suggestions to make the install easier?

Thanks!

Yeah read threw the directions very well before start installing. And if you have to install the lift block read stop at step 6 it doesn't say anything about it in install. It took me 4 hours to hooks up bags lift blocks and compressor. I can probably do it in 2 1/2 hours now that I know how it goes together and wat to look for

Okay, cool! I don't have to worry about the lift blocks, mine is stock rear height. I see that we have the same year LMM, where did you mount the compressor? I'm not sure how big the compressor is, so not sure where to mount it. How was wiring up the compressor for power? Any tips for the install would be great. Thanks! :thumb

I mounted it under the back seat below the seats backrest. To hook that up only took 30-40mins u have to run the power cord to your main fuse box under the hood. And tap into the fuse that has (Ign) after it. Really easy the compressor instructions are good, great wiring diagram.
