Just curious, just back from Oregon, almost 3K, dealer is pushing the mobil 1 thing. Anyone have any suggestions, pros, cons, or did I just open up a major can of worms?

Was looking into the amsoil or royal purple as possibility. Thanks for any input.

I run rotella or delvac. They all have pros and cons i suppose just not enough to really make a difference in my book. They are all decent oils or they wouldnt be on the market.

delvac is a good oil, but so is the amsoil stuff. If you want to run the amsoil stuff and you can get it for a good price, go with them. Amsoil is more expensive for me here in alaska, so I just went with delvac 1. Although, right now, I think they are pretty close in cost.

Rotella is a kick @ss oil that works well in every motor. However it seems to me that they havent changed mutch to apply to the new motors that are out.

I use Rotella in my 6.5 and Cat. Valvoline in my Duramax
