I am going to buy a used flashscan v2 that still has one vin available. It comes with a dsp2 switch that was never installed. The seller also said he can send me the two tunes that came with it when he bought it. My question is, is it that simple to email tunes to one another? If I buy 5 custom tunes from Idaho rob or one of the other major tuners what is keeping me from sending these tunes to other people? Or buying more vins for my flashscan and tuning other trucks with those tunes?

Thank you! I have done a lot of research and haven't found the answer to this! So it's either not possible or very simple I'm assuming.

The tunes you purchase will be locked/unviewable and married to your ECM when you install them. Depending on the tune/tunes he sends they may or may not be locked....
