Ive been thinking about this as well! Was thinking a paint job but i know the wrap will probly be cheaper. Personally i think its a great idea...but i like being different than everyone else.

If you dont mind be asking what did it cost you? How long did it take them?

$2k for little cars and goes up from there unless you do it yourself which is for a novice
How hard is it to clean? You cant go into a normal car wash im guessing.
not hard to clean, but you have to worry about it getting stained, once some chemicals hit it they soak into the vinyl and cant be removed.

I got the door handles painted as well which was more but overall cost was 2650. It was much cheaper than gettin it painted and you're just like me I wanted to be different! Took about a week but the place I went to is very well known so they had a lot of cars when I brought mine up. Only negative it it shows the oils from your hands and street but it's not that bad

Nope you have to hand wash and just regular hose pressure which was fine for me bc that's how I wash mine anyway

plastidip is not as good as a wrap imo. i would go wrap over plastidip anyday. looks good op, wanted to do same exact thing to my dually. probably be over the top tho. ive been told typically flat wraps last about 3 years and tend to fade.

If you could get the same shine as a fresh black paint job i would probly do it. I think flat black would only sell to a limited crowd.

Yeah I'm flat blacking the duramax soon just gotta schedule the work the shop is always backed up ! Took a month to get in with my Tahoe then it sat there a while! I don't plan on selling the duramax so that's why I'm okay with making it limited to any market haha fits my liking!

Looks cool!
I like the price for sure and the protection it adds really. But I don't like that I wouldn't be able to pressure wash my truck tho.
Flat black while definitely be different, but no shine isn't really my style.

I'd like to see a truck in flat black wrapped tho

its a huge sticker that can cover a vehicle lol. its just another way to skin a bull compared to dip
