So this might be one of those stupid consult your owners manual questions but my truck didn't come with one I'm really getting tired of turning my fog lights on every time I start my truck is there a way (short of wiring them in with my parking lights) to make them come on every time my headlights come on?

Nope! Your right. You can wire them into the headlights but thats it. I see what your saying though. I like my headlights on and it sucks to have to hit the button every time.

Now there is the "all on mod" but I think it only works for high beams

i used a relay for the high/low mod and it had an extra contact for what i used for the fogs...they come on automatically....but you can do the same thing with a diode like above.

relays do that,diodes let power go only one way/but still see what you mean.

get a 20 dollar relay kit,when the relay gets 12vdc,it'll kick on the lights,and you don't HAVE to cut or wire the fog into anything....Just get the 12vdc to the sense of the relay when you turn the key to ''run'' position[this can be easy as pie to get a run/hot position with a test light.
