According to the bulletin, yes, two each. Not bad if it helps with the ride a bit.

I bought the (2 ea.) upper & lower mounts from gmautopartsdirect.com.
But after taking it apart & comparing old vs. new (see pix on tailgate), all you really need are Upper Mount 25791031 (Qty 2) for about $25 ea. +shipping.

Thanks for the tip! I think with shipping, it might be a wash so I might just get it at the dealership.

Before you have determined you have "Beam Rattle/Shake" check out your driveline and all joints, look for separated tires. Save some expense from having had a problem in another area. A separating tire or worn joint will make your head and teeth rattle. Some times people go in the opposite direction to get to the meat and potatoes, lastly, a problem like this could be in the rear cab mounts and I know the General has reviewed this annomally quite a bit and has found a fix. In a lot of cases even folks with single cabs and half tons think they have the shakes but it is related to something else. Look it over close. Our problem was a separated tire and at 45 mph nothing, but at 60mph, the whole world was shaking, even loosened the dowel bolt on the leaf spring pack. WOW!!!

I have been running the the cab mounts for about a month. I can say it made a noticeable improvement. It seems to take out the bone rattling joint out of the ride on expansion joints, R/R Tracks & potholes.
Probably the best $120 (uppers & lowers) I've spent. If you just buy the upper mounts it's only $60.

BTW- Sulastic Shackles cost $340 & now I no longer think I need them.

On most trucks, you can re-use the lower pads and the washers. That will reduce the cost quite a bit with the same improvement. The lower pads and washers on my 04 were exactly the same as the new from GM.

OK I installed the new frame cushions and the vibration at 45-55 is now gone. But I have a vibration at about 65 still, feels kind of the same as the lower speeds did, wondering if maybe the U Joint could be causing this new vibration. I'm really getting pissed at this, GM sold me this truck knowing there was a problem, that is just bad business. I have no patience for vehicle problems. Tomorrow I will have the tires rebalanced and have the truck re aligned:mad:

Thank you VERY MCH for this information. Just ordered mine!

What I have noticed is the new lower cushion is soft and when the frame bolt is tightened the cushion gets squished and bulges outward, the cushion I removed did not do this. I wonder if the new upper is not as tall as the old upper, causing the bolt to be tightened deeper causing the cushion to become squished. I still got the old lowers at my brothers house, I will remove the new cushions and replace with old and see if it makes a difference.

I have this vibration on my 09 will these work for my truck or was it only made for older years?

new mounts work for 2001 +. GM never bothered upgrading to the new mounts.

Have you removed the Sulastic Shackles? I have put the new mounts on and the vibration at 45 has disappeared, but I am getting the same vibration at 65 mph now, just wondering if the sulastic is worth the extra 340.00, not ready to buy a new truck, if they work will probably have them installed.

07.5 GMC Sierra 2500 HD vibration

Thanks, I've been looking all over for this. I had seen it in the past but could not find any info. I've got an 07.5 CCSB 4x4 and it rides like crap and has a terrible vibration. I'm going to take it in and have it checked out

I installed the Sulastic Shackles after the Cab Mounts. Now my truck rides like a Caddy (for a 3/4 ton). I got the Cognito UCA but have not had a chance to put them in yet.

Can some one describe the vibration better for me. Mine has a vibration that starts about 40 to 45 and seems to go through 60. I just assumed my front tires needed balancing. My truck is a Crew Cab long bed.

Well, I'm smack in the middle of chasing the fabled "frame beaming" vibration. I only say that because those cab mounts did not completely fix my problem.

I had new wheels/tires installed about 3 months ago. The first time I had them rotated/rebalanced the vibration started. It would start about 45mph and last till a little over 50.

Had the tires rebalanced 3 times and one tire replaced....so, maybe it was just coincidence. So, I installed the Sulastics. Definitely smoothed out the ride, but vibe still there. Installed new shocks. No improvement. Installed the new rear body mounts. Noticeably less vibration in my pants, but i can still see the rear end hopping.

Had the tires rebalanced again. Nothing. Just got off the phone with the tire shop and I will have 4 new tires waiting for me tomorrow afternoon. We shall see.....

Vibration

I have finally solved the vibration problem. Had the frame beaming issue, replaced body mounts, it helped but still had vibration. Had tires checked for roundness, they were all so far off they could not be corrected, so bought 4 new tires. Also had a slightly bent rim, searched and searched to find a straight OEM rim, finally found one, had it mounted and shazam, vibration issue is gone. I had Generals on the truck, my guess is the frame beaming vibration must have screwed up the roundness of the tires, I had the same tires rebalanced 3 times until I had them checked for roundness. Almost drives like new, still need to replace the steering shaft fitting that GM won't cover.:gearjamin

Is this for a 2009 also or did they fix the problem by then?
